It's the mainland Chinese like her who have the most asylum seekers living in America today. Meanwhile China denies asylum to North Koreans and sends them back screaming where they're executed.

Here, we find so many pro-communist party people standing with China because this channel is run by CCP. People hate democracy and they find social stability is the only way to a comfort zone. In fact, protest is the only way to protect their own human rights if the authoritarian regime cannot make the justice and equity, civilian protest and objection to the fake official news are the good strategy to oppose the totalitarianism.

@Leul Once you go to China, you will find the truth. You shall understand how communist party spreads the twisted news and sets (frames) the HK people up. Communists are the liars and they controlled the chinese people' mind by restricting the news in china and brainwashing their people. This woman understands that democracy and human rights are important compared with totalitarianism in china but she just doesn't like social instability occurence in Hong Kong. If you feel Hong Kong people is a shame to you, you can move to China. You could experience something bad and read a new story

Chinese mainlanders unfortunately can't study all aspects of Chinese history. The CCP censors what they want to keep secret (such as Tiananmen, Mao's shortcomings and the fact that the CCP has caused more deaths than the British and Japanese). It is only by leaving China that they have access to the fuller picture rather than the government approved one.

Since 1949 how many people were murdered in china by the
communist party because they have a few possessions, being able to read and
write or, accused of simply thinking to have the above. Then why the top ruling
class of the commie party today are so rich and powerful? Since money does not
grow on trees, where does their money come from??? Corruption perhaps? And
those who ‘have not’ are so money hungry? One way or another, that goes against
    the core principle of communism.
What do you someone who say one thing and do
exactly the opposite? Communism perhaps? This is exactly the same as you sign a
treaty or a contact and then renege on your agreement. Is this the morality of
    the communist party?

What does共產黨 stand for? according to dictionary it says ‘Communism is a socioeconomic system structured upon the common ownership of the means of production and characterized by the absence of
social classes, money, and the state; as well as a social, political and
economic ideology and movement that aims to establish this social order.’
That being the case, the so called communist party in china now is nothing but a
hypocrite (裝偽君子). Why you still call yourself communist party and china run
    by the communist party then.
Since the commie come into power in 1949 and right up today they have perfected propaganda and twisting the facts throughout history. I would like to hear your commie answer to the above!

You are so delusional. The biggest western power aka the USA, is using HK to destroy themselves. Why get your hands dirty when they can just do the job for us? By using the ideal of "Democracy" to fuel delusional young individuals who can't see both sides of the argument and constantly source info from biased western articles harbours ignorance and arrogance. The Chinese Communist Party is not perfect, there are many things that are sketchy within the part, human rights, friction with the Uyghur community, the list goes on. That being mentioned, all political parties in this earth is not perfect. However, it's just downright depressing seeing individuals committing fratricide to their own nation.

@Janice Ross I just can't support them after seeing them shine laser lights into an elderly woman's eyes and taunt her. They even tried to frame her as a supporter of China. I do not stand for such bullying and abuse of the elderly. I've also seen these protestors attack Mainland Chinese in HK and discriminate against them as well. Also, people who try to speak out against them are attacked by them. A man was set on fire by the protestors for not supporting their cause. That man is now in a critical condition. How can these protestors suppress other HK people's opposing views with violence when they're wanting democracy? Supporting them means that I am justifying their use of abuse and violence in an effort to achieve democracy. That's not okay for me. Maybe for other people, they can overlook these things, but I can't. The video I saw of a gang beating young women and a pregnant woman didn't just happen on one occasion. I'm confident that the men dressed in black and beating the girls with batons were HK protestors. I will attach the links if you would like to see.
The police have actually shown a lot of restraint with respect to the protestors' escalating level of violence. I know there is a lot of media out there that attempts to show the police and to frame them as being oppressors. I don't think it is that black and white. I have so much respect for the police in how they've been trying to manage the situation at hand. If this had happened in the US, the police would've resorted to using guns a long time ago. The police have also been demonized by Western media, and I honestly feel like a lot of it is blown out of proportions. If there are police that have used excessive violence, then they must be punished in due time. However, this also applies to the protestors. The protestors who have bullied and attacked others should be held accountable and be punished as well.

After the police overuse their power in a peaceful LEGAL assembly, the purpose immediately turn into setting up independent investigation against the police brutality.

Well, Hong Kong is a part of China. It was only when the UK came and colonized HK that it was forcibly taken away from China. For many people, including my father who is from HK, HK being a British colony is a painful part of history. What bewilders me is that the extradition bill has been scrapped already. Why are they still protesting? It's as if their demands are growing and they don't know their limits. The more extreme protestors have not hesitated to bully, intimidate, and assault others, including young and pregnant women. Why would the mainland support their demands while such violence is unfolding?
